Managing Director & CEO
Meet Ismail Zaan Amir, a high school graduate from International Virtual Learning Academy from the United States of America, where he studied sports and entertainment marketing, health and PE and international business. He has been playing football competitively since a very young age, playing for teams such as Levante UD and UD Canals in Spain along with Club Valencia in Maldives, where he made his debut at the age of 15. He also played for the EduKick Manchester Academy, where he trained under professional football players such as Michael Carrick and Kolo Touré. He recently debuted with the U-23 National Team against Nepal and has consistently been a National Team player since the age of 13.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to bring his experiences in training and professionalism when it comes to sports from Europe to the athletes in Maldives so that the next generation of athletes will grow up to achieve great accomplishments in not just in local competitions but also internationally.
Co-founder & Sports Psychologist
Meet Martin Jimenez Toribio, a graduate with a master degree in sports psychology and physical activity and a master degree in coaching and leadership. He has dedicated his whole life in the world of sports, helping athletes psychologically prepare for their careers. He is also the psychologist of FC Barcelona eSports, one of the best soccer clubs in Spain and alongside this, he also has experience working as a psychologist with international artists in the world of music through Urban Roosters.
Martin previously worked at Cream Real Betis, which is also one of the top tier footballing teams in Spain. He has the 1st level of coaching in Spain and has coached the U-18 teams in Spain. His playing career has been outstanding, playing almost exclusively for third division teams consistently at a high level and has proven to be a crucial player every year.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to highlight on the importance of physical fitness along with the psychological aspects in the field of sports. He also hopes to use his platform to promote and bring opportunities for local athletes to play professionally in international leagues and competitions, specifically in Europe.
Sports Therapist
Meet Lubana Shah, a graduate in sports and exercise science, she has worked alongside a team of physiotherapists to kickstart her career, where she helped in treating several individuals including national athletes amongst different sports. Since then, she has been working in the development of musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. She expresses a keen interest in the area of sports injury prevention and management through exercise therapy. Along with this, she emphasizes a good balanced diet being just as important as sport therapy for the development of young athletes.
With Aajeelakah, her mission is to use her expertise and develop the field of sports rehabilitation in Maldives to pave the way for athletes to learn the importance of injury prevention and living a professional and healthy lifestyle.
Ahmed Zayyan Areef
Finance Director
Meet Ahmed Zayyan Reef, a graduate in ACCA from Villa College. He has had the experience to work at NSPA as an Administrative Officer from 2020 to 2022. Currently working as a Senior Officer Payable in Ooredoo Maldives, he carries huge responsibilities such as recording transactions in the ERP for payables related transactions, manage and maintain all the lease rentals and utilities payment. He also carries the power of booking, validating and getting approvals on invoices ignorer to process company payments. Zayyan has proven to be effective and motivational, with proficiency in problem solving and collaborative work. In sports, Zayyan excels in the field of swimming and is the National Referee of the present time.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to use his experience in the field and manage all the operations in the field of finance.
Naahil Ahsan
Marketing Director
Meet Nahil Ahsan, a graduate in Business Marketing brings all his experience he has applied before in his career. A passionate person in the field of sports as well and his love to developing young athletes has made a big difference up until now.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to look after company's marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image. He prepares annual marketing plans, creating a calendar of campaigns and events while setting the marketing budget.
Mariyam Sofwa Hassan
Human Resources & Admin Director
Meet Mariyam Sofwa Hassan, a high school graduate from Aminiya School. She has dedicated her whole life in the world of sports in Basketball and is the current vice captain of the Maldives Senior Basketball Team. She is also the current sports supervisor in Aminiya School. Along with this, she expresses a keen interest in the area of sports development for young athletes.
With Aajeelakah, her mission is to use her experience in the field and contribute as much as possible for a better environment.
Adam Mibsam Saleem
Fitness Trainer & Strength Specialist
Meet Adam Mibsam Saleem, certified in IPTFA personal trainer and Special population training, he possess experience in strength training, muscle gain, and also have a background in calisthenics and bodybuilding. He has been in the fitness industry since 2019 and has made a name for himself in the fitness community.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to make sure athletes know the importance of strength training and the amount of discipline it takes for the athlete to reach new heights in their sports career.
Yoosuf Rameez
Head Coach
Meet Yoosuf Rameez, a passionate person in sports, he has been in the field of football for more than 15 years playing at the top level in Maldives. He has also completed C license and is keen to bring his experience in sports and apply here at Aajeelakah.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to bring his 15 year footballing career and show our athletes the pathway of success. He also describes sport as a rollercoaster and with him in the team our players will definitely learn the importance of success in sports.

Meet Antonio Soler, coming from Spain he brings all his experience after having played professional football in 3 different continents. He was also called up for the Spanish national youth teams several times as well as playing most of his youth career in one of the top academies in Spain (Villarreal CF).
With him, our players will definitely enjoy quality trainings as well as a good burst of energy in every session.

Abdulla Yasir
Football Coach
Meet Abdulla Yasir, a 'UEFA A' Licensed Coach with the Scottish FA with experience ranging from grassroots to first division teams in the Maldives. He has had the opportunity to collaborate with coaches and players from diverse cultural background. Yasir is currently the Assistant Football Coach of Eagles Football Club with experience from his previous work as the Assistant Football Coach of United Victory and the Head Coach of Headstart International School of Phuket, Thailand. He was also working alongside Carles Puyol in the Easter Camp at Patina Maldives in 2022. Yasir also is a well known educator passing his knowledge to other coaches who roots to make way in the industry, conducting courses (D License) as AFC instructor in R.Dhuvaafaru and N.Maalhendhoo.
With Aajeelakah, his mission is to bring all his knowledge as one of the most experienced educators to the field of sports. He also hopes to utilize his platforms of contacts abroad to connect our players in the Maldives.
